Gum disease is present in a major portion of our population. Patients have to floss and brush correctly daily. Plaque is the major contributor to our gum disease problems. Until recently patients, those patients who go to the dentist on a regular basis.
What debris that is below your gum-line affects your teeth and your entire body's health. We have to floss and brush at least once a day correctly. The condition of the teeth and mouth of teenagers and those older reveals a need for dental care and home hygiene.
If you are having problems with toothaches, bleeding gums, bad taste, foul odor, you may have gum disease.
If you do not floss correctly or brush correctly on a regular basis, changes are you have gum disease. Patients cannot treat gum disease on their own. Gum disease slowly destroys the tissue and bone that supports your teeth. The more bone you lose, the less support your teeth have and you may notice that your teeth are moving.
You have 4 choices to make;
1. You can do nothing. Your problem will continue to get worse.
2. You can have your teeth cleaned. Scaling and root planing can help providing your problem is not severe.
3. You can have gum surgery. For patients with serious gum problems, you may choose surgery.
4. You can have the LANAP protocol.
The LANAP protocol involves using a specially built laser for gum disease. Our office uses the Periolase MVP-7.
By using the LANAP protocol with the special laser, gum disease bacteria, diseased tissue and bone are vaporized. The special effect of the special laser offers: True Regeneration - of that attachment apparatus (new cementum, new periodontal alignment and new alveolar bone.) This is the worlds first and only FDA clearance for True Regeneration.
Our office is offering special pricing programs.
